We've got the Criterion DVD too, we had to watch it last night to get out the bad taste The Good German left in our mouths. It looked cool, but the story...not so good...okay, it was just bad.

Perhaps your public library bought it and you can borrow it, Girl Friday? http://catalog.dallaslibrary.org/ I've owned the VHS for 15 years but I borrowed the 2 disc version from my library to see and hear all the extra features.
