Are you going to spend all funds you gather to jackets, or cheat and get something else too?

Just “one” jacket. Probably a used Goodwear when one pops up in my size. I know it’s been hot worldwide, but in California this summer is really making it impossible to wear a jacket at all. I’m tied up financially (transferring to a 4-year college in January) so I’ll have to choose wisely!

I have only relative cheapies plus a Johnson M-120 in the closet now. But I am quite fond of this Alpha WWII A-2 I found last year at a surplus store.

The seller "distinctive footwear" always has incredible jackets. I wonder where he gets them. I've bid on GW/ Freewheelers/ RMC all from his listings.
I suspect it's an eBay consignment shop. But yeah. Always good sizes and plentiful selection of really nice jackets. This thread has caused me to keep an eye on two. Hate this damn place.

I wonder if anyone has experienced a specific sub-category of The TFL Effect where by you cannot sell off jackets. I have purchased most of my jackets second hand from experienced TFL members and have curiously read about many members passing on jackets quickly and frequently. I have found that I have "sellers remorse" even before actually selling a jacket, and have posted for sale and pulled the post of a few jackets more than once. I just seem to accumulate more and more jackets, and struggle to move them on.
Hmmm.....something about moderation?

I have not had this problem. Anything I've sold on has been something that didn't work for me, normally due to fit issues, or because I had found something similar but slightly better that I would always choose over it.

Well I think I definitely have upped my game as far as better and better jackets, but I still like the not so fancy and/or really expensive ones too. Maybe it just takes practice.

Unless the jacket’s fit is way off, I tend to keep them. A little voice in my head tells me, “it may fit one day”. Plus, I like having them.

I doubt that my first Aero, a Highwayman in brown fqhh, is a perfect fit, but I'd never sell it. I get annoyed with myself as I have a cordovan LHB that I want to sell, but have difficulty in actually getting round to selling. The same is nearly true of a cafe racer. I have an SB custom jacket that I will definitely sell. Soon.

If I could get to shifting those three, I'd just have the Aeros I wanted to keep, and I reckon I'd then not be so annoyed that I have jackets that I do not wear very often.

I don’t have trouble selling if the jacket doesn’t fit. If it’s fits and there is nothing wrong with it but I just don’t wear it often....oh thats agony.

I know I should sell it but maybe I’ll feel like wearing it “one day”, but it’s taking up closet space, but it’s kinda cool but not really me, what if I sell it and regret it one day, it will cost more to replace it but if I do sell it, I can use the $$ towards something I might wear more often....and around it goes.

Is easier if the damn thing just doesn’t fit lol
