Ooooohhhh, Daniel! No había visto este! Wowww! Niiice. Then this happened over on eBay...one of the fastest Buy It Now buttons I hit. Stetson 100 fedora, stars on the liner crest. Size 7. Just my little effort to catch up with you big boys!
Some of these beauties are still out there. It looks hardly worn - now to get it out and about.

I say I have removed myself from the fedora "hunt" BUT if such a grail hat, in my size, were to cross my path would I be willing to open the cheque book? That is a tough question and not sure which way I would jump but I have a strong suspicion that if I passed on it the walking away would haunt me for a long time. Then this happened over on eBay...one of the fastest Buy It Now buttons I hit. Gotcha. I hear there’s a magician in Mexico City who can make it like new. He has a tonic that regrows sweatbands and vintage liners he gets from goat stomachs. He’ll have it good as new and it will only cost you a tiny piece of your soul.

Now there’s a nice one. A Hundred kudos.
That crown looks creamy soft and the thin ribbon is quite a nice touch.
Wear it well Tonio.

It was Daniel who confirmed a friend's recommendation of Ignacio to me. Thanks, Daniel! Ignacio asks about you often.Ignacio in CDMX can definitely work miracles, although FedEx or DHL will probably cost as much as the repair. He's a great guy and has refurbished several hats for me. If you had three or four hats to work on it would just about be worth the price of a flight to visit him!

Posted in the "Ask..." thread but will post here as well. Looking for detail drawings or patent number for the plastic inserts for the Stetson Samsonite 100 Case.

Buler on here bent some once upon a time. He has a jig & the plastic pieces but just can't get him to bend any more of them...HTHPosted in the "Ask..." thread but will post here as well. Looking for detail drawings or patent number for the plastic inserts for the Stetson Samsonite 100 Case.

I takes so much time. I heat the joint area for the bend by holding the plastic over a soldering iron. It needs to be just right, but not too much, to get the bend right. If someone has a better idea/tool for doing the joint heating, I'm all ears. I do have enough plastic left to do around 6 pair.

I understand how you did it with a pattern traced from an original. No problem.I takes so much time. I heat the joint area for the bend by holding the plastic over a soldering iron.
