I was lucky to come across a 100 recently for a decent sum.

Having only had an Akubra before it was a bit of a revelation.

The hat itself had a mild centre dent when it arrived and does not seem to have been worn much or have a memory of a previous bash.

Never having bashed a hat before - it was fun to play with it and a learning experience.

I eventually got the hang of the cattleman's crease - easiest when wearing it to do it!

As has been said before the hat moulds like clay, but the brim is very firm and seems to want to stay up.

Sweet find! I have one of those stiffer 60s ones and the brim does like to be up.

That one cleaned up nicely. The unusual color for a 100 had me interested when it went up for auction, but realizing I had recently shelled out for two other 100s in the last couple for months made me come to my senses (or what's left of them).
