I recently looked at many threads here over the years (always helpful) and found the mirth in the stark reality about an expensive coat -whether one bought it when they were 20, used or new---and realizing it just won't fit anymore. [
My leather jackets---they vary ---no more 38--I'm old--sell, donate. My 42 --nope-up to 44 and 46. I ride a motorcycle so having a bit extra for tee shirt, long underwear shirt, shirt shirt, sweat shirt or sweater and then the leather jacket--well time to size up.'
Very beautiful cashmere coats--much the same. It's expensive to wear nice leather--or nice Cashmere. Thank god for the used market.
