Selling this incredible sheepskin D-1 Mechanic jacket from The Real McCoy's. It has been worn, but is still in excellent shape. Super duper warm and perfect as an outer layer in the winter months. Retail on this is over $2500 USD, asking $1750 plus shipping.
Description:
The U.S Army D-1 mechanic jacket was issued during the same period as the B-6 flight jacket. It was designed for grounds crew often working in harsh weather conditions, however, because of it's relatively simple design, was soon adopted by pilots who would wear it over their A-2 flight jackets for layering warmth whilst still retaining ease of movement.

-Vegetable tanned horsehide trimmings
-1940s bell-shaped Talon Zippers
-Made in Japan
