Hey Guys,

Matt sent me an email last week. He is doing some Quality control and didn't like the way some of the first run hats came out, so they will be delayed, hopefully out in the next couple of weeks.

I got the same email. I'm in no hurry to get the hat; I'm happy he's taking the quality issue so seriously that he's willing to delay delivery and possibly get some flack from anxious customers. Also, the communication factor is important; explaining why the delay is happening is a good idea and much appreciated.

This looks as though it is going to be a super hat.

My Powell has arrived - thanks, Matt!

I used a distilled water spray for shaping and the hat is still wet. Very nice hat, I must say!

Great minds think alike, I have done the same Dave. This is a very cool hat. I may have to invest in a Cagney as well.
