I am going through my hats and thinning a few out that see little head time.
I bought this John Penman, "The Penman," last year 2nd hand from another FL member. I knew it was a tad small and hoped to have it reblocked, etc, but just haven't ended up going that way and wear it only occasionally because it's just too small for me. It's marked as 23" in diameter, a true U.S. size 7-3/8.
It's really a gorgeous hat with beautiful Dark Moss beaver felt, a fantastic 6 point diamond crease and creamy bronze colored liner. Very little wear on this one at all. The felt is pristine and I've only worn it about 4 times in the time I've had it.
This comes in a classy Penman hat box and will be shipped with the origianal cardboard shipper to protect the hat box and fedora.
John sells these for $475 new. I'm asking $275 plus shipping to your location.
