"The Nebraskan" by Resistol. This isn't my hat but I wanted to add it to the list. Since Nebraska is my home state I would love to have one in 7 1/4 or 7 3/8 should anyone see one, I would appreciate hearing from you. They were made for the Nebraska Centennial in 1967.

Wow, very nice goal to find one. Only sold in NE for the Centennial, I wonder how many are out there? No Byer-Rolnick markings either.

Very cool, Scott. That would be a great find. Of course, you'll need a pair of these to go with it.

Where in Illinois, Mark? I've lived in Chicago so long, I feel like I'm from Illinois myself

I don't know. I didn't know this existed until this week when I saw it on ebay. I considered bidding on it, but didn't want to get into a bidding war for a hat that isn't my size. I am of course now having second thoughts.........probably should have bid on it. May not see another.

Well......unlike me....You were being practical.;) Not everyone wants a bunch of stuff they cannot or do not use just sitting around to just look at. Yep, I have a LOT of CRA.....er.....STUFF, just sitting around. One more item, does not usually catch the eye of my wife.......:)
Well, that's the rub. I have farm toys from when I was a kid and new ones. Firearms I haven't shot. Knives that set in a cabinet. All gathering dust.......so why didn't I bid on the hat? LOL

Wow. Wonder if there's a Florida pair?

Perry, in the late 40's ACME Boots commissioned Lucchese to build a boot for all the states to be used in a nationwide ad campaign. It took two years or so for the design and construction of the boots. Through theft and loss, only 10 or 12 pair are known to remain.

I have never seen a FL pair but they are available. See below.

Guess I won't be buying these anytime soon.

That ain't nothing.
