Thank you guys. Not sure how I'll crease it just yet. What a beauty!
Very nice hat Dave! Glad you found this one. Can't help on Robert Reed.1940s-50s Dobbs Westward, Robert Reed Hatter (saw another post on this store somewhere, anyone know more?) like the quality much more than my my 1950s Stetson Open Road
I think counts as an “other”.

The felt is a pale gray... probably dove I guess. It super thin and light. I have honestly never experienced a felt like this. I’m not even sure how to go about creasing it, it’s puts up zero fight.

Certainly qualifies for this thread. Looks very nice. Are there any interior tags- a reorder tag behind the sweat, possibly? Perhaps we can figure out the manufacturer.

Super hat Tele.
That’s what i call fingerdent felt.
Because when you touch it, it leaves fingerdents in it. Which is a very good thing. Imho
I agree with Fruno, looks like a Resistol tag, which is a very good thing too.

Took a chance on this 5X Beaver Westchester Imperial for $25, a little creased and dented but in overall good shape. View attachment 143029 View attachment 143030 View attachment 143031
Don’t let @Desert dog see that red liner.
Oh no. What's wrong with red liners?
