I'd never heard of the "Oleomargarine Act of August 2, 1886" so I Googled it. It was even more boring than I was expecting it to be....In 1911 Joseph Wirth was sent to the Leavenworth Federal Penitentiary upon being convicted of violating the Oleomargarine Act of August 2, 1886. He would serve more than 3 yrs before being released.
It's not nice to fool Mother Nature!
