After looking at other photos taken in Paris in 1935, it doesn't appear to be common; possibly a personal choice? That's Walt Disney, by the way....Looks late 20's early 30's(?) in Paris. Whole brim seems turned down. Was this common for fedoras in that time? Most modern hats seem to be flanged down which I thought was a recent thing.
