A big Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. I'd like to know who dreamed up this idea and what and how much they smoked. It looks like it was inspired by something from a Popular Mechanics or Popular Science magazine from the '30s combined with bad Sci Fi from the '70s.

If the windows for walls didn't trigger my fear of heights - who knows if they would, I'd love to ride it. I imagine it'd hardly feel like a ship though. Would you feel any rocking in even the strongest storm? I don't know.

I'd think there would be a major problem with resupply. It would almost have to be continuous. And very expensive.

Much easier to just build that structure on a real island.

Yes, they were, but in order for it to make any money, the tickets were somewhere around a hundred grand per person, if I remember correctly.

Works out, in a way, for authenticity, in terms of ensuring that only the same crop of people that could afford to enjoy the first Titanic can ride the 2nd.

I'm surprised they haven't done it already. It would be much like an amusement park (ummm....is that a bad choice in words?), but on the sea.
