Seven men were murdered in the garage of the SMC Cartage Company that day and the crime officially remains unsolved to this day. The only witness to the actual crime to survive was a German Shepherd dog named "Highball." Oh, okay, I was just wondering because it's definitely not a straight scan of an original paper, but I have no problem believing that it's a cobbled together or Photoshopped version of what was an actual paper. Sorry if I implied that there was something shady going on.

No I don't think it was cobbled together in photoshop. Its a reproduction, not a recreation. Its likely from a turn of the century photograph of the original paper, that was then reprinted and then scanned for the web.
