Friend, which vanson model is this? Do you like the #10 zips on your sleeves?
Please advice!

Sometime ago, In the LW webpage, I saw a jacket with #10 crowns on the sleeves. At this, I tough it was overkill, now, I do not know, honestly. I am thinking of doing the upgrade.

Here is a sample of military and none military comparison of crown and talon.
The mili talon show little damage at the bottom end due to span location. Great idea and application. Will not affect installation.

My Vanson hardcore highwayman has the #10 zippers on top of the sleeves. I do think it is a bit of an overkill on the sleeves. I am thinking it is more for aesthetic reasons.

Looks like you have some great looking zippers in your possession. Plus with the sentimental value, you really can't go wrong. I hope to see this jacket when it is done.

I will be using the dark green conmar or the super heavy duty talon to do a repair on a highwayman.
