It begins to fly. The first week and the last week are the worst. The middle is a blur. That was my experience.

Since I just went through this (new hat arrived yesterday) I found that buying two other hats during the wait period helped.

I can't even imagine waiting that long. I have to wait two weeks for Sam at EA to reblock my hat before sending it off. It's gonna be a long, long two weeks (especially because I have 18 hours of courses in college) lol !!!

I hope to be on that waiting list someday. Don't know when, though. My plan when I graduate is a suit, either from Magnoli or Deckard, so the hat will probably have to wait.
Art should get my conformer back today or tomorrow and then I guess the waiting officially begins for me. I had a 10 week wait for my canoe mocs from Quoddy and that was excruciating. I do agree though that the first and last weeks are the hardest, it seems though that Art lets you know the status and when his hats actually ship. Unlike Quoddy that kept giving me ship dates but it never came and I had to keep calling to get the updated date. Took the 6-8 week projected time to 10 weeks, but it was pretty worth it when I took the shoes out of the box. I'm sure the gratification when seeing my hat from Art will be even greater as its truly fit to my head and shaped as I want it.
