I totally agree with you no real furs, as we love animals (I'm also a vegetarian ;) !)

The hat is very nice and you look amazing!!!

Wear it anyway! Can you help it if you're an untamed temptress and it's the law of the jungle?
You know, I used to, but it just doesn't make me feel good to know he doesn't think it looks good. One of those old married things, I guess!

On the other hand, he loves my red lipstick and my 30s waves. So he's OK!

Fabric Resources

I've been planning on making myself a little faux fur muff after the holidays. Leopard has been the print most on my mind. With that, here are some links to shops that carry faux fur by the yard for FL seamstresses.

I'm really liking the "Jane" fabric from this shop...

Hope those are helpful for those who want to sew up their own vintage fashions!

Thanks for those links! I would love to make myself a faux fur coat. I love the pink and purple leopard prints and the blue cheetah. I wonder if those fabrics are warm.

Thank you so much for sharing these! I've been thinking along the lines of a muff or removable collar as a project this winter, and just needed to find the fabric. ;)

I adore leopard print! That being said, I don't think I have anything in leopard. :(

However, I found the prettiest coat in Macy's. At first I thought maybe it'd be too over the top, since I already get some strange stares, but as soon as I put it on I felt so glamourous. Sadly, I'm broke at the moment.

Love all the photos in this thread.
