The Hat From "There Will Be Blood"?

Just came across this post on Instagram. He did a good job on the hat. I would not take his advice on using hot or boiling water on your hat but it’s a all right video otherwise.

I have made two changes to my hat since it arrived and I am happy with both. I put a small bash on the rear of the crown to disrupt the sloping dome line in profile (it looks a bit more vertical now). And I also used my steaming iron to put an ever so slight dent on the right side of the hat. It's almost not noticeable but I notice it and I like the look.

As we have discussed before, I wanted a softer hat than I got, however, the stiffer material does hold even very slight modifications if you steam them in. View attachment 307552

I chose the whiskey color. Whiskey is one Colors I don’t have and I wasn’t necessarily looking for an exact match to the hat. But on the screens it’s hard to see exactly what color DDL hat was.

Thanks. It really is kind of an “out there” hat. And again no one wears is it as well as Daniel Day Lewis. Much like no one can wear that Indy hat as well as Harrison Ford.
Does it mean any of us can’t enjoy our hats though.
