Here is a very cool jacket, a Flat Head "Cafecto" or cross-zip, stand-collar, cafe racer cut. Model number FN-LJ-HW003.
This one is brand new, box and tags, currently being stored laid flat, so as not to get creased in the box. The Shinki vegetable tanned tea-core horsehide is medium weight with superb color depth, drape, and density. I really feel like The Flat Head is able to source some of the absolute best Shinki makes... I'd put TFH against anybody in that capacity, Free Wheelers included. Just lovely hides. The richness, hand, and smell is amazing.
This is tagged a 42, but fits closer to a 40. The measurements below from TFH site feel pretty bang-on to me, comparative to other jackets I own with similar or identical measurements.
I bought it on a whim, but it would be a redundancy in my line up, and I can't justify keeping it. Letting it go for less than what I paid. $1200. Cheers!
