I feel like a very lucky guy. I've coveted a nice B-3 for 20+ years and I finally have one. Not only that, but I landed a new condition Eastman B-3 on Ebay for several hundred dollars less than I could have gotten it with tags. Honestly, it weighs less than I expected, but it fits better than I expected. I appreciate all of the information I've received by everyone on here who have shared their photos, opinions, and advice. Without all of that, I wouldn't have been able to make an educated decision and purchase. My fiancee loves the HELL out of it and I've already gotten more use out of it than expected!.......That's right, guys.

Lovely! But I do wonder how it'll go in Florida.

You'll just have to up sticks and move to Alaska ;)

I do plan on wearing it outside of FL, and a trip to Alaska may well be in the not too distant future.

@Worf - You know, I've been very envious of your Alexander D-1. That thing fits you just about as perfect as you could hope for.

Good to hear it's going to get a workout in cold climes Nabottle. I have an ELC Irvin which I bought when I was last living in Norway and I lived in the thing over winter. Here in SE Oz it still gets some use in the mornings and evenings but nowhere near the level of wear when I first got it. Although with us moving back to northern Norway later this year, I'm looking forward to getting some decent wear with it again! Actually apart from around 3 weeks a year up there it's always jacket weather ;)

Enjoy the jacket, ELC's sheepskin/shearling offerings are simply amazing, as you've just discovered.

I'm jealous Sir! That is one smashing jacket and a superb fit on you. The fulfillment of a 20 year ambition :) Eastman do make a lovely shearling, started with their Irvin & now onto their D1. Enjoy that B3

Thanks for the love but YOU my friend absolutely knocked this one out of the park. Come up next winter, if it's anything like LAST winter you'll be living in that thing. Looks great on you, just have to get enough winter fer ya to wear it!!!!! You know I've an Irvin and D1 but no B3... (cue the envious drool)!
