Does anyone have an idea of the dating of Dobbs hats with this liner? I have a Dobbs Westward and a Dobbs Rancher with this liner style:

My other Dobbs have a liner such as this:

I'd appreciate any insight on this. Thanks.

The first one was used in some models from the 1940s to the 1960s. It's actually the top half of the full Dobbs Crest. Yours is either '50s or '60s, judging by the tip protector. The second one was used on the lower-tier hats in the 1950s.

Sweet hat, Cuz. I've been on the hunt for a Twenty. Is that "Jetsons" coffee table a vintage find, or one of your creations? Very nice.
Thanks Cuz! It was sort of an impulse buy. I've been on the hunt for something in a much lighter shade of grey myself, I've nabbed two new charcoal hats in the last year, but this one seemed like a pretty good deal for what it is, so I jumped on it. I'm pretty impressed with the quality of it.

The table is a custom job I got from a guy over in Atlanta about 15 years ago. He used to have a shop there in little 5 where he sold the stuff he made as well as some pretty sweet vintage furniture. I imagine I'll probably leave a few hats behind when I head out from here, but that bad boy is going in the coffin with me.

I thought the same about this one but now I'm afraid that's a contemporary one.
Would the Twenty-Five designation be enough to make it a vintage one or what else do I have to look for please?
It doesn't look too contemporary. I'd guess early 70s at the newest. Very nice looking hat, and in fantastic shape. Hope it was you that caught it.
