I would rather wait for the right size. I have to send it back tomorrow and get one size bigger. I don't want to damage the sweatband or something.

I guess in the future I will come up with summer linen caps too. I still have something in mind... I have access to fabrics from a traditional linen weaving mill in Germany. They have some nice narrow loom linens I´ve already used for shirts (in lighter weights). I may see if they have something suitable for me caps.
You really have to go 1-2 pages back in this thread for the sizing info. But I try to make it shortDo those caps run small then FFF?
Since we've already talked about that in great detail I'll be sure to place an order for a linen cap in a few weeks.
It was called a 'Wigens Robert' on the site I bought it from, but you have to be a bit careful, because I've seen online retailers mix the names up on Wigens styles - even the Wigens site has this cap listed under two different names, http://www.wigens.se/kepsar-l1698 - claes and bjarne. I thought it was a Harris Tweed, but it is actually lambswool - very nice herringbone tweed though. I bought it from Northern Hats for $60 - they are having a sale on them at the moment - half price! but they have sold out of the charcoal and only have the brown in L and XL. http://www.hatsncapsdirect.com/servlet/the-2278/Ivy-Cap-(Brown)--dsh-/Detail?category=Wigens & their ebay store http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Ivy-Cap-...971534932?pt=US_Hats&var=&hash=item826841fa29. My head is just under 59.5cm, and this cap is marked 61cm but the cap fits me pretty well. I think it is the best made and quality cap that I've bought - the fact that I am so keen to wear it and think so highly of it, after preferring newsboy caps for quite a while, is a testament to how good these wool Wigens caps are.Pardon, which style Wigens is that and material? Great cap.
So this is a really cool cap imho... I´ve looked at all my sewing stuff, fabrics and supplies and suddenly this cap was already done in my mind.
This one´s got the full package:
Brown Harris Tweed lined with very soft and thin cotton flanell (please take a look at all the matching lines of the plaid).
You need about 25% more lining fabric this way... but the result speaks for itsself.
Snap closure, adjustable buckled back.
I gave those rivets about two or three hammer strokes more than needed...normally I´m not a big fan of distressing/ aging new stuff but I thought in this context it will look good.
It´s a size 60 but it´s very suitable for a size 59 too because of the adjustment that can be made. I´m a size 59 and it fits me good.
Anyone interested to have it?? If not I´ll gladly wear it myself
