Took Inspiration from one of my original early 1920s caps with a fancy back
Made with 1940s windowpane wool with contrasting blue flecks running throughout...
I'm a little late to the party--been out of town and offline for the last 11 days--but I wanted to say how much I like this material and the pattern. Wonderful!

Well it took me over a week (off and on) to read through this thread from start to finish.......then I ordered a full cut Hat People cap. Great reading!
First, welcome to The Lounge Bummer26!

Second, I feel your pain. I've spent far too many hours reading and re-reading this and other threads here. They're always fascinating, and the photos provide some nice eye candy.

Third, I second Stuffsmith's request that you post a photo or two of you wearing your cap after you've received it. I have three Hat People caps myself and I really like them, so I'm interested in hearing your opinion of yours.

Thanks guys! That was my new (to me) 1930's French farmer's shirt, and an amazing cardigan handbuilt for me several years ago - sheep shorn, wool spun and knitted all by the same woman in Queensland! it weighs about 3lbs.! I just made the buttons. :)

I bought this little number over two months ago on the French bay. I had long accepted that it was lost, but lo and behold! it was delivered today! NOS, never worn and in pristine condition.

I prefer this style over the angular darted caps. Could you post a photo of yourself wearing so that I might get a better idea of the size and drape?
