I've started to play golf, after many years away from it, and I'm wearing my caps. The comments have universally been positive. Some have even asked the proshop to start carrying caps. We'll see what happens.

I think the uniform syles are also for motorsports. I also see hints of a Elbschiffermütze/Prinz Heinrich which is a cap worn by fishermen and similar maritime proffesions. It's usually dark blue or black and has this cord over the visor.

The uniform-style visor caps are for civilian sports clubs. They are designated as ¨Yacht club¨ and ¨Aviators caps¨ and made from navy blue cloth.
Right below the cap illustration is this box with badges for various clubs (or flags as ornaments).
Among them badges for cyclists, bowling, soccer, gymnasts etc.
