the other day I went to visit my pal Al of Al's Attire
tried on a few caps, here is a jumbo cap

Al is wearing a 8 pt French style the points are very pronounced, a good seller

all hand made in North Beach, San Francisco Al's Attire

You look good in the jumbo cap Che. The 8 point is cool too. Is it similar in construction to yours? I've never seen that style outside of the FL but I'm thinking I might have a need for one soon.

Mike, yup kids shoes for some boutique

Dale, its very similar to the cap I have except it has a crease lining up the points sorta like a flat police officers hat
actually he was rebuilding some hats for the SFPD at the time so I think he uses the block from that type of hat

I was tempted to buy the giant cap but behaved & controlled my self not easy to do as we were indulging in fine Tequila & Whisky.....

Thank you, Pinesiw. You have a great collection. My only other "vintage styled" cap is a Retro Sports from france. All of my other caps (4 of them) are rather small and modern. I will get another cap in linen next summer.

Pinesiw - Holy crap, man, way to go - nice collection of colors and patterns - we need some noggin shots of these to highlight them individually! I really LOVE the brown/cream check.

Che - What a candy store Al's Bespoke looks like. Dangerous place for me, I'd better stay away! Glad to see another example of the French sharp darts! I like how low it sits on his head - very streamlined. Did you pick up that jumbo cap? Very very nice, though I remember seeing one very similar from your own collection a while back.
