Well, Sean Connery was the first and set the tone for the rest. He is perhaps the best, but I rather like George Lazenby's presentation. lazenby was hard, but had a soft side, especially when Dianna Rigg got killed. If he wasn't such a jerk on the set, he could have done a few more 007 films. But he had odd ideas and demands, like Pink Floyd should do the sound track for On Her Majesties Secret Service. So he turned out to be too difficult to work with. As noted before, some people consider him to be too effeminate. The producers worried about that too and sent a hooker up to his room, which confirmed the opposite. As an aside, in the late 70's or early 80's I had to go to traffic school, which was at the High School in the Fairfax district of Los Angeles. Lazenby was also a "student". At the breaks he spent his time observing the girls on the athletic field with great appreciation.
