We had a Sharp at first, which was *seriously* flash because it had its own built-in cassette deck. Then a couple of years later we 'upgraded' to an Amstrad CPC464. Which came with its own *colour* monitor as well. Used to wait 14 minutes for a game to load.... All these years later, my phone is more capable than either of them. Indeed, since about 2004 my phones have all been more capable than NASA's computer they sent Apollo11 to the moon with. The march of technology is scary sometimes.

My Dad owned a 911 for a few years - I think it was a 76. Nice motor, lovely quality, but yeah.... huge spoiler. I suppose it was just part of the style back then, though I doubt many of them ever got driven fast enough for it to serve any practical purpose.

Yeah, Porsche history says, the 911 Turbo "body kit" was enormous popular around Carrera drivers.

Likely.... though TBH Jags that modern never did it for me. The one I really fancied was the *original* S Type - basically a MKII with a slightly elongated rear end and longer wheelbase. Known to handle better at speed than the II; in 60s London they were considered the ultimate getaway car.
