Forgot to add that this hat was made by CROFUT & KNAPP. Jamespowers and others here know that KNAPP was one of the very finest hatmakers of the Golden Era. For some reason, vintage KNAPP hats almost never show up on the market.

Just a long way of saying congratulations to the Lounger who won!

As with all things, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Personally, I like the hat. The stitching on the brim and ribbon give it a rugged, outdoorsman look, but it's dressy enough to wear with a tweed sportcoat, or a tailored safari jacket.
