Giving a little more detail here, we'll next turn to the lining and the external leather, sleeves and back areas, as those can be pretty critical when considering a vintage jacket such as this one:
The sleeve ends, as expected exhibit wear consistant with many years of heavy usage. While they look a bit ragged, the jacket still is easy to wear and likely much of the wear seen in the photos below may not be a big deal for general usage. Also, the sleeve zippers have provisions in their sliders for a keyring, so I'll likely add small ones, so as not to detract for the original-ness of the jacket.
The leather forming the sleeves is wonderful, this jacket needs no help with patina and "rolls" - it's earned them, as has the prior owners who wore it in to this level of broken in greatness.
Lining, as mentioned prior, looks to have been replaced at some point, still serviceable, but many wear spots showing: This will need to be updated later - the FL site is acting up for me this evening. To Be Continued!
