Howdy, This post is a heads up for anyone searching for a rare, top tier vintage black leather jacket from the 60's, made by Taubers of California. It's marked size 44 but fits more 40-42. I inherited this beauty but it's too tight and the sleeves come up short. If it fit, they'd have to bury me in this gem because it is precisely what the true vintage leather aficionado's are searching for. The black leather is thick and heavy (sorry, no scale here) It is perfectly broken in, awesome patina, no tears, no flaws, no smells aside from that aromatic old leather vibe, talon zippers all spot on. I was considering conditioning the leather but the patina might shift and it's still supple as is. I am listing this beauty on Ebay today but I don't have enough history here to list on Fedora's site. Taubers was a high end leather company. on par with the biggest names in vintage leather jackets. The style, simplicity, and condition of this one makes it a rare score. Please check Ebay this evening for more info and specific measurements. Thanks for looking!
