This is a great hat, but I have a policy on black hats so it has just been sitting, never worn, on a desk for the last eight months.

It is a nice hat. I have two of PB's similar brown panamas & they are great. I also have some naturals & have given more than a few as gifts.

Anyway, for your consideration, a nice high 4.75" crown w/ a 2 3/4" backwoven brim & black fabric sweatband. A simple, unique & distinctive hat :

I almost listed it as a 59/60 but chose to err on the side of caution. And as time is a major factor here, I will be in touch this evening should I not hear from Mr. scooter PDQ. I haven't yet received an irate 2nd invoice from the seller I owe, but I expect such a "friendly reminder" soon.
