Swiss Army Field Jacket Wool Coat

I recently obtained this Swiss Army field jacket. Does anyone have any information as to when these were made?

AFAIK these are cut-down longcoats of the 1930-40's.
I think they were already cut down in that time.

I like those, I'd seen the long versions in several online surplus shops. but I like the length of this one. May I ask where you found it?

I never been issued this one, so pre-90's

I found a classified in an online swiss auction website, and looks similar to yours.
The one in the classifieds is jacket in use in mountain infantry troops in 1927 (jacket specs from 1926)

I got it from a friend. Her dad went to medical school in Switzerland in the late 1940's so I assume he got it there. Thanks for responding.
