Hey, I want to ask all of you that is wearing clone or replica watches in usa is a crime?

Read carefully! The fake watch you are wearing can be seized when crossing some borders, costing you the watch and the $ you paid for it, not to mention other potential hassles.

Aside from people unwittingly being duped/conned into buying a counterfeit, I'm having problems with buying one knowing that it is fake. Mainly because the fake watches innards are far less costly than the discounted price requires, so even the knowing buyer of a fake watch is still probably getting screwed.

Yes, that's about the size of it. I understand the temptation (particularly for those of us who will either never be able to afford the likes of a Rolex, or who if we did have that sort of money would struggle to spend it on a watch), but of all the fakes I've ever encountered, none of them were actually particularly good as timepieces, having been primarily designed to sell as a lookalike. Generally speaking buying something "honestly" branded will result in a much better timepiece than buying a faked-logo.

So what about those who are selling online?

As far as i could see selling fake watches or other faked products from US ground is illegal by both, federal and state law, even if the buyer is informed that he‘s buying a fake.

If your‘e trading or purchasing from a platform that’s not located in the US, though living on US ground, you‘ll make yourself an importer with the same result.

If you‘d ask such a question in any serious watch forum around the globe, you‘d be banned immediately by the way…:D

With the posts on other threads offering watches for sale, I'm going to guess marksteve has some watches, fake or otherwise for sale and this is a way to get engagement.
