Herself has been looking for a new straw for a Summer wedding, and we've settled on a Sunbody. Alas, the postage from the US is a dollar or two more than the price of the hat! Postage remains the same - just under fifty dollars - for up to six hats, so i'm thinknig of ordering one or two myself. If any other Uk loungers are interested in ordering one and splitting the shipping bill, drop me a pm and we'll sort something out. Order will be going in probably this weekend.

If you get this together, don't forget they'll do custom jobs at no extra cost. I recently got an oak-colored 4" brim hat cut down to 2 3/4", and refashioned into a fedora style with a brown edging and a brown leather band. I was really pleasantly surprised to find there was no extra charge (except for the leather band) and equally surprised at the price. The hat's easily worth two or three times what I paid for it. Edward, when I bought a hat online from the US, carriage cost $55. When the hat reached the UK, the carrier, Parcel Force, put a note through my door telling me that there was in import charge of £8:50. it gets expensive. As it happens, Esther is making me another hat so sorry I can't chip in. But, I did see on E-Bay that Sunbody will ship for $34:86 (£26:97) with no additional import charge. Hope this helps. By the way, will you be going to The Goodwood Revival this year?
