Time to start looking for a new straw hat or two, so I'm looking for opinions on who is the best online straw hat retailer.

If it makes any difference, I'm looking for a fedora style. 2 1/2 brim, 4 1/2 crown, teardrop shape.

I have had great luck with Miller Hats in Houston.

http://www.millerhats.com/mcsindex.html

I have ordered by phone and e-mail and always have great service.

not to hi-jack your thread, but here is a recent milan I recieved from Millers.
Its color is pearl, and its a light gray. The photo kind of makes it look blue and there is a little of that in the color but I really like it.
In fact I plan on ordering one in natural.

{this one has a 2 5\8s brim}

I guess some people don't like Panama Bob so they don't recommend him, but I have bought more than one from him and that would be where I would start for a straw hat. Nothing like a Panama.

I have gotten outstanding service from Delmonico Hatters

Me too! I ordered a hat listed in stock online on a Friday evening at 7:15pm. When I got home from school on Monday, the hat was waiting on my porch! From New Haven to Tampa that fast was SHOCKING to me. The service since the sale was wonderful as well. I tip my hat to them!:eusa_clap

That hat would be perfect. What do they call the style?

I agree with RBH about Miller straws. I have one thats held up really well at a good price. If you want a better Panama, try Art Fawcett.
