Straw Hat refurbishing...

got out my straw hats yesterday. seems the brim on one is somewhat askew...cockeyed...uneven. you get the idea.

how does one go about straightening the brim on a straw hat? is steam the answer? any special precautions?

Easy...

Just steam it and if needed press it with a iron with a towel between the brim and the iron.

A Montecristi Panama hat has a memory and usually a little steam is all it will need.
