Spoke to seller today. He's been selling to locals and it sounds to me like they've cherry picked the best sizes and hats already.
He can only say there's 19 hats or so left of various sizes most likely smaller sizes or larger like 7 3/4 and newer vin.
Pics sent to me are of thin ribbon op rd type in assorted colors.
Doesn't show any liner or sweat shots. And their at 10' at that.

I talked to him on Wednesday or so when he said there were a 100 hats or so that he would go thru sizes but didn't have time as he worked 6 days a wk. then he never called so Saturday I called only to find out he sold 25 hats to some guys who stopped by ???
Then there's like only 19 hats or so left . (Math is off as is other things). Then he said he'd make a deal for the lot of size 7 hats.
I folded after hearing that.
So close yet so far...

Getting in early didn't help, either. I started talking with the guy in late November. He was generally unresponsive and, as Bond has said, only provided blurry pictures and no inside shots. I figure somebody got some deals. Perhaps some will still show up on eBay.

I just came back from there, picked up a nice OR in silverbelly, probably from the 70s-80s. Matt was very nice and responsive to my texts. Probably about 40 or so hats left all look to be between 7 and 71/2, my OR has some bites but the price was reasonable and it fit my XXL head. Brands mostly Stetson, some Dobbs a couple Champs.

I still have a good amount of hats left if anyone is interested in purchasing the whole unit for a really good deal. I just want these hats gone.
