This hat is black. The underneath photos show it most accurately, while the lighter, blue-er looking photos do show detail but not accurate color.
If you like stingy brims this is for YOU. I'm thinking perhaps '60s. No moth or other damage. The only apparent wear at all is the slight flaking of black off of the welt on sweatband.

I just obtained this recently and am keeping it in a plastic container. I can't vouch that a jazzy fedora like this hasn't been exposed to smoke or pets during the past decades, but it sure does seem clean and funk free to me!
