Not sure whether best to have started a thread, but in searching the threads I've been unable to find any reference to a similar hat, so I'm wondering if it's something of an anomaly.
I can't date it from the Stetson liner, crest or size tag threads, so I would be grateful if any of you Stetson connoisseurs in the Lounge could help with your opinions.
Dark chocolate brown (photos are poor), quite thick, but soft felt. Brim 2 5/8", creased height approx. 5". Size tag shows both 60 and 7 3/8. Plastic liner tip. No label under liner, but label on underside of sweat.
Too large for me unfortunately.

I don't believe that hat was made in the USA. More like a Stetson made under licensee.
Thanks Vic. I did wonder if that was the case, but was puzzled because the liner indicates USA and did not know whether 'Royal' grade was ever made under licence.
Would you have any idea of the era? I had thought perhaps 60's.
