Hmm, that's interesting.

Nothing like as nice as the new VS milan you have, but not bad for the price. I assume the material is one of the synthetics which might be good for rainy days.

Not Bad looks like their poly Milan stuff. At least it doesn't have the cattleman crease that most of their milan's have.

For that site it's priced well. I think I've already spent enough on a summer hat so I MAY have to pass. Seeing that did remind me that my one milan has a removable pug so I could make it a thin ribbon with a little work. Could be a good learning experience for me. It would almost be like getting a new hat. Hmmmmmmmm.

Liking the looks of that one so far (though I do wish the brim was bigger). If it is a synthetic, I'll probably be picking one up (I've found it rater easy to stain natural straws in the heat of the Summer, my Capricorn has sold me on synthetics). Now, how do we find out what it's made of?

I wonder if the brim is actually 2 1/4 as stated. I wouldn't be surprised if the copy is wrong on that point.

I was wondering the same thing. It looks wider than 2 1/4 to me. I just went to Stetson's website to get the specs and the hat has not been added yet. I've noticed they are pretty slow to update their site.

So far the only thing Google has found for me is the linked retailer and another with identical text, plus a thread from the 'Lounge about an email from Stetson saying the hat would be launched soon (thread was from June 2011).

I just recieved a e mail from Steve Singer of MensHats.com and he said he will get Jose at the store to measure the brim and crown for me Monday morning.
So we will have it Monday if someone does not find out sooner.

I would be surprised if it was a 2 1/4" brim...the pictured hat looks to be at least 2 1/2".

I have a modern Stetson Shangtung and if it's anything mine (I don't see why it wouldn't be), then it has some give, but nothing like a natural straw Milan.
