Pensive fellow, indeed. Probably wondering where he can find a more casual hat in a size 8 1/2.

La Dame de Notre Renaissance Française here in Nashua is dedicated to French Canadian immigrants who worked in the local textile mills.

The millworker's son is looking good in my Bluegrass Campdraft

That's a marvel of a bronze. Beautiful job on the dress! What's that implement on her left hip, do you suppose?

Good match-up with the color of that Campdraft!

Thanks Randall. The statue is the centerpiece of a nice little park that celebrates the French Canadian influence on the local culture.

The thingy in her pocket is a spindle used in the looms in the mill. The statue was created by Maine artist Christopher Gowell.

I really like the old industrial area around the river and canal - great location for engagement photos for our wedding clients.

Well, she was obviously distraught, whether from trying to figure out the bus schedule or because of the bird poop ---- hard to say. My Borsalino did little to comfort her.

:eusa_clap Ah, there he is! Thanks, Scotty. That shot was the genesis for this thread, and I couldn't find it.

Great old piano, Jeff. You play that as well as the oboe?
