Oh, and by the by, here's a little comparison.

Topmost jacket is the Vanson Comp. Weight (Model A) (3.5 oz)
Middle is Aero FQHH (Half Belt) (3oz)
On the bottom, my Alpinestars motorcycle jacket (Brooks repro), supposedly made from 1.5oz leather



I don't know, but it seems to me there's barely any difference between these skins. Certainly not enough to warrant them significantly different.

Do you mean no difference in weight, Monitor? Personally I find the difference between 1.5 and 2.5 huge and between 2.5 and 3 very noticeable.

I mean in general. I don't know... All three jackets appear very equal to me in terms of weight & leather thickness to me. Alpinestars is literally softer than silk, which gives it the impression that it's not as substantial but it's still quite a weighty jacket.

Hello everyone!

This is my very first post on here and probably one of only a few that I will make. I couldn't help but prowl this thread a few months ago when I was looking to make my first serious leather jacket purchase to see what people had to say about this brand. Unfortunately I didn't get much info but I decided to take the leap and make a purchase. Below are a couple pictures of the model I purchased. Hybrid motorcycle version in nappa cowhide. Let me know if anyone has any questions about this great jacket.

Also, I think I mistakenly posted this on an alternate older thread about the company. I will be happy to delete that.
