Grab your coat, grab your hat...
I kind of expected you would go for the original, Jack."Wishing Well" -- Blackfoot
Take off your hat; kick off your shoes.
I know you ain't goin' anywhere.
Run 'round the town, singin' your blues.
I know you ain't goin' anywhere.
You've always been a good friend of mine,
But you're always sayin' farewell.
And the only time that you're satisfied
Is with your feet in the wishing well.
Long live Rickey!
I went with Blackfoot because it's on Blackfoot Strikes which happens to be my favorite album of theirs, and overall I like Medlocke's volume of work.I kind of expected you would go for the original, Jack.
But, if only because of Paul Rodgers, here it is:

She's still there. Many years ago there was an exotic dancer at a local watering hold that danced to Joe Cocker's song. She was good, the song great, and she did indeed leave her hat on.
I saw some comparisons to Janis Joplin. She's got some pipes, and she's still out there.
Probably just like they pushed Janis Joplin & Nina Simone to be pop singers instead of the Blues. The record company was pushing her pretty hard at the time.
