Some of the last vintage hats I'll sell, plus some suits and jackets too

Hello, all...got a few things for sale on the old eBay. I need to scrape together some cash for our yearly family Disneyland vacation (the Taxman, who generally pays for such endeavors, was especially cruel this year).

I really had to make some sacrifices in my collection to do this, so there are some real gems in there. Unless I start actively buying again, these will probably be the last hats of mine that I sell.

Lots of bigger stuff in terms of clothing, for once...finally getting rid of things that I was trying to get around to having altered, but never did. A suit and several jackets, plus some vintage eyeglass frames (I'll be adding some more tomorrow as well, so check back).

Most hats are size 7, though there is one super nice 7 1/4 (that I've had for about 8 years). Also some decent hatboxes in there.

You can PM me through the Lounge if you have any questions.
I would love to sell to a Lounge member outright, but for monetary purposes, I'll need to let the auctions run their course.

Thanks for looking! hope some of these beauties find a good home.
So, goodbye hats (and suits and jackets and some vintage lamps and things):

Thanks everyone!

Yeah, I'm a 38, and most of these clothes are too big for me. Just never got around to having any of this stuff altered to fit me (and honestly, probably some of it would have been awful altered anyway).

Got a sweet pair of 1940s American Optical dark brown eyeglasses I just decided are a hair too big for me that will be on my eBay auctions in about an hour and a half.

We go to Disneyland every year. My wife and I went on our first date there, and my 4 1/2 year old is totally obsessed with pirates and skeletons (and believe it or not, Pirates of the Carribean was closed last year, so he really missed out), so I think it would be pretty depressing for us to not go again this year...

A friend of mine just bought a great vintage clothing store here in Phoenix, and I'll be helping her with the men's department, so I may end up starting to acquire more and more vintage clothing this year. This means I may end up with stuff to sell as the year progresses, in the interest of me staying off the 'Hoarders' program.

Oops. Sorry for the list.

Also have another pair of great 40s eyeglass frames wy wife has finally convinced me are too large for my face:

That two-tone jacket is AWESOME. I've had it about five years, I think, always meaning to get it altered because it's a little too big for me.
But I admit...I have another one, which is tweed and dark mocha gabardine, that sees a LOT of wear (because I did have that one altered), so...well, Disneyland calls.

TRADES

Yes, I'm raising money for Disneyland.

BUT:

I admit, I'm also seeking a vintage leather jacket...a very specific type.
This type:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300476440478&ssPageName=STRK:MEDWX:IT

The lighterweight, the better, but it's gotta be short, have the half-belt back, and no ribbed cuffs or anything of that sort. Side straps are a must, and I'd dig them on the sleeves too but it's not critical.
Boxier cut than this is OK. The chest pocket can also be straight instead of angled like that.

If these auctions continue to go as well as I'm hoping, I may have some extra money to facilitate such a jacket...which I would love to take to Disneyland with me.
I'm a 38 regular. Not interested in anything that needs altered.
PM me if you have anything like this you're willing to part with, even as an outright sale.
I'll have to wait until all of the auctions are up to see if I can even afford a jacket, but I'm hoping I might.

thanks all!
