I used to have Moctoe fever and therefore needed several at the same time without gaining any experience with my first pair. Unfortunately, they are half a size too small on my right shoe and so I rarely wore them. I tried to talk myself into it for a while and I can wear them for shorter periods of time, but I need boots that I can put on at 6 in the morning and that are still comfortable at 8 in the evening. Unfortunately, these are not for me.
So if you're looking for barely worn Mac Toe, I'll give them away for 175 EUR + shipping from Austria. They currently cost 349 EUR new.

About to look myself but you may know off the top of your head. How does the moc toe sizing compare to the iron ranger sizing.

I'm tempted.

Of course feet are different, but for me the same size moctoes are a bit more comfortable. In terms of length, the moctoe and Iron Ranger should be the same, but the last is different. I think half a size bigger in the IR than the moctoes could help if the moctoes are already very tight. If you buy shoes with a lot of room anyway, take the same sizes.
I hope that makes sense.

So, based on my extensive research, it would seem that for some people the same size for the IR and the Moc Toe is fine. More size up a half size from the IR. Given the narrower last on the Moc Toe I fear that these will be too narrow for me in the toe box. I have a really wide fore foot.

I have previously had to sell on my Alden Indy boots becasue they weren't wide enough (even though I got sized and bought them in a local shop). I'm going to pass on these lovely boots as I'm afraid to repreat this experience.

Thanks for your response and GLWS!

I was able to go down a full size in the redwing blacksmiths but only went down a half size in the moc toes. This worked for me. I've a pair of roughnecks on the way, also a half size down from my normal size.

I find that Red Wing is generally quite large, although not all are the same. I once tried on the Moc Toe with the double welt seam (Norwegian-like welt) e.g. 1907, and they are much smaller than the normal ones.
It's a shame that there are no half sizes in the larger sizes. US12 is slightly too small on my right foot (but not all of them, the 875 are ok), and US13 is visually too big and too wide for me.

Maybe a Grant Stone Brass Boot in 12 E/EE would work for you. Customer service is very good and they helped me nail my sizing for the chelseas I bought from them.
