I’m offering for sale a beautiful Optimo fedora in medium-weight, pearl-gray felt, size 7-1/2.
I bought this hat from a TFL member earlier this year (http://www.thefedoralounge.com/showthread.php?62804-FS-quot-Vintage-quot-Optimo-of-Chicago-Size-7.5) thinking I might have it resized to fit my 7-5/8 noggin. Like every Optimo hat I have ever handled, it is amazing. The crown is creased into a center-dent shape, but it is easy to reshape an Optimo hat however you like.
I have only tried it on once. I recently decided I will not try to have it re-sized. If I decide to get a white hat someday, I will order a custom made hat. So it is time for it to move on to a new home. It will come in the original Optimo box which will be packed inside another box.
Starting bid: $225 + $15 shipping (US). Buy-It-Now: $250 + $15 shipping (US). If you need it before Christmas, then shipping will be more (up to $35). (A brand new hat like this would cost $695 from Optimo.)
Specs:
Size = 7-1/2
Crown height = 5-1/4” as creased
Hat band = Black ribbon, 1-5/8” grosgrain, with bow, no feather
Brim = 2-1/2”, underwelt edge
Sweatband is black leather, gold embossed logo.
Liner is white satin.
