Up for sale is this very very VERY lightweight Kitten Finish with 2 3/8" cav edge brim. The felt is practically paper-thin, an excellent felt for summer. The ribbon is a pleasing shade of brown, hard to describe, but the color rendition in the first image is very accurate. The hat was made unlined and has an imprint on the crown inside, as well as a rather narrow, very flexible leather sweatband in accordance with the lightweight felt.
The condition is flawless with the exception of permenent creases of the diamond crease which could be removed by a proper reblock.

Some more details:

- does have just a slight taper front/back, minimized by deep diamond with quite heavy rake
- no taper at sides (meaning: in front view)

- no discolorations, just set-in creases that need reblock to take out. ready to wear as is, though; the "character" befits the brown felt

- dimensions of crown front, side, rear, as is creased:
- 12.0cm/ nearly 4 3/4" front, 11.0cm/ nearly 4 3/8" sides, 9.3cm/ just a bit more than 3 5/8" rear (at the diamond rear crease).
- about 5 3/8"open crown with rounded crown roof.
- if front were creased more like 11cm, the rake could be reduced and front/back taper would be less

- date: 1950s Resistol with the earlier (pre-1948 factory move) tag still used for this hat

- much lighter than an ArtLITE; it's as light as a Borsalino Featherweight
