SOLD - Fine Stetson 25 Open Road

I have a few hats that I will be listing here over the next several days... here is the first:


Stetson 25 Open Road - 1960's vintage

Size 7 1/8

Condition is excellent on this one! Felt and liner are clean and fresh. The only condition exception to note is a 3/4" cut on the sweatband. It can be seen in the fourth photo. When the hat arrived to me I inserted a thin fabric piece glued behind the sweat to stabilize it. Otherwise the sweat is supple and secure.

$140. (includes shipping to the lower 48.)

Great condition and price on the 25. But I've got a 25. Now, if you ever felt you wanted to sell a 100 or a 7x CB in the same size, I'd sure want to hear. For those seeking a 25, this is an excellent price for it. You could get drawn into that sort of price for a run-of-the-mill Open Road on E Bay.

It's a beautiful hat for sure. I can't believe it's still here. If it were a 7 1/2 or a 7 5/8 we'd be fighting over it!

Alan, this is a beautiful hat (and my size!). Unfortunately, I need to be "responsible" for a bit, as I've about tapped out the 'hat budget" for the moment. I'm sure it will be gone before I'm ready, someone will be lucky to get this beauty.

I'm happy someone bought the 25. That's my only higher-end Open Road, and it's a good-looking hat. Yes, if you want to bring out the 100 at some point, I'm interested. Hope to happen to check this space at that time. If I've got the bucks at the time, I'll definitely enter the fray.

The Open Road and Cavanagh arrived today and they are just as beautiful as the pics! The furfelt on that Stetson is gorgeous. Thanks for a couple of great hats....and what else did you have in 7 1/8?
