I have here an early 1950s houndstooth sportscoat by "Robert Hall". Notch lapel, 2 button closure. Lovely light brown, cream and grey houndstooth. If this fit me i'd be wearing it all the time.
The coat has issues, but nothing that would ever be noticed by anyone other than via very close inspection. I had to reattach the left patch waist pocket. There is old repair work to the body of the jacket where the upper corners of this pocket are attached. Well done, in a home job kind of way. There is one visible moth hole on the rear of the collar - not a large one; maybe 1/8". There are a very few small faint stains. These may clean up in dry cleaning - i haven't had it cleaned. This is a good serviceable vintage jacket, but not pristine.
