People who refuse to shop at Walmart for ethical reasons but have no problem going to Target.
It's not ethical for me, it's the fact that at Target, there are no crowds inside and plenty of parking outside!People who refuse to shop at Walmart for ethical reasons but have no problem going to Target.

I once told my boss at the radio station that he was wearing a very petit-bourgeois necktie. He said "Thank you."
...My ideal escape involves several dirty martinis.
Yep, me too.Now that is a sensible idea and one that I follow.
Well, it is Tar Jay after all!Target is simply Wal Mart for the petit-bourgeoisie. The products and the labor practices are no better -- it's merely a difference in demographic branding.
It annoys me too because if there's nothing they need to buy they're teaching their kids materialism. ThereI especially find it irksome that there's this popular "mommy-culture" belief that if you have childcare for a bit, your ideal escape is a Starbucks Latte while you push your cart around Target shopping.
I work in a retail store and we get those moms. I understand some moms might need some stuff they're buying, but I'm not talking about them. I'm referring to the ones who are in there out of boredom, who are in there spending money they don't need to spend, taking up space with their huge strollers, and teaching their children materialism. They're interrupting me mid-task unnecessarily.I especially find it irksome that there's this popular "mommy-culture" belief that if you have childcare for a bit, your ideal escape is a Starbucks Latte while you push your cart around Target shopping.
How can it be too crowded if nobody goes?Nobody goes to Wal-Mart because it's too crowded.
